In November 2010, I traveled to Liberia to tell the story of Twestival 2010. Twestival raised over 400k for Concern Worldwide’s efforts in education. We spent time in Grand Bassa County seeing the work that is still to be done and the progress that is underway towards raising the level of education in Liberia.
I made 3 videos for the project – The Twestival Promotional Video, Social Media & Concern and Education In Liberia: Concern’s Approach. Each video focuses on a different aspect of the work being done, shining a light on the stories that make up Concern and Twestival’s DNA.
I had the opportunity to work with Amanda Rose, Twestival Founder and Social Media Organizer Extraordinaire (http://amandarose.com) and Esther Havens - probably the world’s most talented humanitarian photographer and storyteller (http://estherhavens.com)
