Campaign Video – Lolly’s Locks
For the third year running Studio Say So had the privilege of working with Lolly’s Locks to produce their yearly campaign video. We traveled the West Coast from LA to San Francisco to Portland to tell the stories of women battling cancer whose lives were profoundly changed when Lolly’s Locks granted them a wig.
Our goal was to create a cinematic piece that focuses on the beauty, pride and strength of these women as they battle cancer. We chose to frame the women in positions of power and focused the video on what a woman truly gets when she gets a wig – so much more than a good hair day – she gets her life back.
It was also our first opportunity to work with the new Sony FS7 on a large scale project and we were very pleased with the results – It allowed us to shoot gorgeous super slow motion at 4k and create a truly cinematic look that carries throughout the video.
Studio Say So was founded with an early base of non-profit work that carries through to this day – with clients ranging from Unicef and Charity: Water to local grassroots organizations working on problems as diverse as cancer research, water projects, education and feeding underprivileged children. We are passionate about helping non-profits put their stories on screen. A campaign video is a powerful tool for use in fundraising campaigns, events and casting a vision for your organization to continue to grow and impact the world. If you are a non-profit with a story to tell give us a call.
